From: Peter Banaschak T-ONLINE DE> Date: 16 mar 2000 Subject: Re: Shogi Font Ahoi, Reijer! Thanks a million for making the .sty, .mf, and .tfm files available... I downloaded them, and they work fine. Together with the documentation it is quite easy to work out what to do. Again: your colleagues did a wonderful job, and I strongly urge you to make this material available at CTAN [= Comprehensive TeX Archive Network]. (They are busy preparing the next CDROM with all material available, and it would be really nice to have that stuff included.) > Problem is that the manual is in Japanese and that I do not have the time > for translation at the moment. For example, > FU->Fu, KY->Ky etc. For me, there is no need to hurry, although I can't just now read the Japanese .ps file. The .tex file provides a lot a lot of examples, and after a short cut&paste session I had them transferred to my exploration file. Even in a PDF the pieces looked quite good (up to about 400% magnification). Any fount expert listening in on this is kindly asked to make up the corresponding PostScript Type1 founts... (that would be great!) > Hope this helps, > Reijer It sure did. Thanks again! Greetings, Peter
