Subject: MSO 2000 and its Shogi Festival will take place!

I just got some fantastic news, hot from the press. David Levy has
secured enough sponsor money and the MSO will take place! The
arrangements and conditions for the Shogi events will be the same as
announced before. For details, please refer to

I ask the national organizations that have not yet submitted the
registrations of their players to do so within the next 2 days or so.

We have 42 definite registrations (including 8 from USA and 6 from
Japan) for the ESC/MSOWSC (the Shogi main event), and expect between
88 and 108 for that event, making it the largest Shogi tournament
ever held in the west!
