I would like to get financial assistance to attend this event.
(You've met me at the Chicago Shogi Championship, and in New York a few times.
 All year I was looking forward to the New York World Championship.  But my
flight was cancelled because of a storm - as were many other flights - and I
could not get to New York.) I can make the committment you wish.
I am an active member of the Midwest Shogi Club.  I ran an annual Chess Clinic
at Proviso West High School that has included a Shogi Tournament the last 4
years.
George Fernandez ran a simul at one of these.
I have also run Shogi tournaments at Game Conventions (Gen Con and Origins)
