From: Pieter Stouten SHOGI NET> Date: 15 jul 2000 Subject: Shogi.Net named #1 Key Resource Links2Go regularly carries out an unbiased statistical analysis of millions of web pages. This revealed that of all Shogi-related sites Shogi.Net is the one that most other pages link to. More surprisingly, in the realm of all board games, Shogi.Net secured second place, outperforming e.g. Internetchess. The rest of the Shogi Top 5 is: 2) Roger Hare's page 3) NSR English home page 4) Norwegian Shogi 5) Eric Cheymol's page I think Eric's page could have scored better, but many pages still link to his old site at imaginet.fr. Other pages in the Top 32 are: Javashogi, Matt Casters's Shogi Database, Reijer Grimbergen's page, Swedish Federation, Steve Evans variants page, MSO World, Computer Shogi Association. Surprisingly absent is , Patrick Davin's Shogi Nexus, which I personally find one of the most relevant Shogi pages with content that is being refreshed on an ongoing basis. I would encourage every Shogi aficionado to check out the Shogi Nexus, and link to it. Ciao, Pieter
