Subject: Austrian Shogi Championship

For the first time Austria will hold its national Shogi-Championship.
Everyone may participate and we have free private accommodation for the
first players who register!

I hope I can welcome many of you in Graz at our tournament.

1. INTERNATIONAL AUSTRIAN SHOGI CHAMPIONSHIP

When:   8. - 9. 4. 2000

Where:  Cafe Brot&Spiele
             Mariahilferstraße 17
             8020 Graz

How:    Swiss system; 5 rounds

Time limits:  60 min./player + byoyomi

Prize money:
We are still looking for sponsors, but we can guarantee ATS 2000.- total
prize money

Saturday, 8.4.:
                13.00-13.30     registration
                13.30   opening
                13.45   round 1
                16.30   round 2
                19.30   round 3

Sunday, 9.4.:
                13.00   round 4
                16.00   round 5
                19.00   closing & prizegiving

Tournament Fee:

members of the Austrian Shogi Association: ATS 100.-
others: ATS 120.-
youth players and beginners: ATS 80.-

please pay at registration

PRIZES:
The prizes will be distributed according to the number of players of
each category. There will be at least prizes for the first three, for
the best beginner and for the best youth player.

Accomodation:

For the first few players to register there will be free private
accomodation (just take your sleeping bag with you).
