Time: April 7-9 2000. Place: Stockholms Schacksalonger, Brannkyrkagatan 65, Stockholm Personal registration: April 7, 7.45 pm First round: April 7, 8 pm Number of rounds: 7 Prizes: 1. Qualified to the Swedish Championship play-off Challenger Final, 25 % of the prize sum, and the Swedish representative at the tournament in New York, May 19-21. 2. Qualified to the Swedish Championship play-off Challenger Semifinal and 25 % of the prize sum. 3. Qualified to the Swedish Championship play-off Challenger Semifinal and 25 % of the prize sum. 4-7. Prizes from the Swedish Shogi Federation and reserve spots (in order of rank) to the play-off. An extra prize from the Swedish Shogi Federation will be awarded to a lucky winner of a lottery for those of the participants who take part in the prize giving ceremony. Thinking time: 1 hour + 30 s byo-yomi Participants must be Swedish citizens and members of the=20 Swedish Shogi Federation. The play-off will be arranged in Sandviken, June 1-4 2000,=20 together with the chess tournament Gastrikland Open.
