[snip] I agree with most (and probably all) of what Teruko said. The reason for this is because my goal in a shogi game is not simply to win; my goal is to win against my opponent when they have played their best moves. So, I have no real desire to claim games. Similarly, if my opponent wants to take back a move, then fine. And I'm not a fan of short-timed games either. There is no way I can possibly find the best moves when playing them. For me, such games take away much of the beauty of shogi. By the way, another goal I have in games of shogi is to enjoy them. Oh, and something else: I can't find the best moves when playing long-timed games either! -Chris
