Possibly split into Dan-Group (1-kyu and above) and Kyu-Group(s) (2-kyu and below). Highest placed British entrant will win the title of British Shogi Champion, and will represent Britain at the Shogi World Championship in New York on May 19-21. Highest placed entrant of any nationality will win the title of British Open Shogi Champion.
