Shogi ELO points, surely? (USSF ratings, I assume.) That is, it is an upset
when somebody who is rated 600 points higher than his opponent is defeated
by that opponent.

Like a 1 kyu beating a 2 dan in an even game. (I do not say that the
difference is equivalent - I don't know how the points system equates to
kyu/dan, for a start.)
