I have this problem too. I think it will apear on any other platform
than windows. The reason, I guess, is that the text entry widgets has
been set to some absolute pixel size which fits the size of the windows
fonts. The JVM/Netscape on linux uses differents fonts that is not
compatible in size with the windows versions.

Never experienced this problem.

On another subject, the firewall problem, you have to make a "hole" in
the fw to allow connections to PF-231-119.tokyoweb.or.jp (or
internet.shogidojo.com) at tcp port 9999.
