I have another guess.

I have experienced exactly the same synptoms when running
from home, where I am uisng Netscape 4.5 on a Macintosh.

At work, using Netscape 4.6 on a PC the applets start fine. (But
then the firewall stops them from connecting, so it's bad luck
both ways..)

So my guess is that this applet for some reason does not (easily?)
run on a Mac.

Any one with other experience of this?

Please tell me, I really want to get there..
