Subject: Tournament

     This is to alert shogi players to a pair of tournaments planned for
the weekend of Nov. 20-21 in Frederick, Maryland (about 45 minutes NW of
Washington or SW of Baltimore).  Saturday is the Eastern open (even game)
championship, Sunday the Eastern handicap.  Free accommodations are
available for a reasonable number of out of town players at the homes of
two local players.  Details will follow.
