Subject: ShogiDojo Ratings

     I have now identified nine players who have established ratings
(thirty or more games) on "ShogiDojo" and also have either U.S. Shogi
Federation or European Shogi Elo ratings.  In all cases, the ShogiDojo
ratings are much lower, the differences ranging from 192 to 709 points.
The mean difference is 369, the median is 338.  So it would seem that my
earlier estimate of 300 points is actually too conservative.  In general,
the differences are larger at the low end of the scale.  Please keep this
in mind if you play on "ShogiDojo", or else you are apt to get discouraged
by the low rating you will receive.
