It is the longest running tournament in the Chicagoland area that I am aware of. 1. Dave Rockwell W5(2p) W3 W2 3-0 1st 2. Tony Salvaggione W6(2p) W8(6p) L2 2-1 2nd 3. George Marino W7(6p) L1 L6(2p) 1-2 T5 4.Cristian Saenz L8(4p) L5 W7(4p) 1-2 7th 5. John Stryker L1 W4 W8(4p) 2-1 3rd 6. Miguel Saenz L2 W7(4p) W3 2-1 4th 7. Josh Sturnfield L3 L6 L4 0-3 8th 8. Tim Rockwell W4 L2 L5 1-2 T5 I wish I had kept a gamescore for the championship game. It featured Dave's shikenbisha against my hidarimino. Though neither of us have played much recently, it was a very even and enjoyable game, but as usually happens between us, Dave won. His son Tim, all of 11 years old, won at his first chance at a tournament game, and gave me more than I wanted in our six-piece match. John Stryker had, I believe, one of his strongest tournaments today. Thanks as always to George Marino for hosting the tournament again. Tony Salvaggione
