Thank you so much for sharing your graphic source code. I have needed a way in which to present my games of chess and shogi in the graphics media environment for some time. I have been working on the programming logic in Fortran, Basic, Pascal, C, C++, & HTML for the past several years, but have neglected to put much time in the presentation beyond the text mode. This is a major step forward, for me, and I truly appreciate your input and work. I've just touched on Java & Java Script. Now, thanks to you, I'll be getting into Java with the motivational factor that I needed. It's really nice to be in an open environment. This is where we all tend to expand our knowledge base and move ahead. It is so much better than a closed and secret group environment, even though they do have their places. There are the one-way groups who take in the knowledge for their purposes and then close the door when they feel that they have gained what they want. Things do change, and it is for this reason that we should not "BURN OUR BRIDGES" by closing our doors. There are so many examples of this throughout the history of the World and in each of our personal lives. Thanks again & Cheers to you, James = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = James Harnett, (503) 282-8698 mharnett uswest net P.O.
