    Recently I've noticed some of the messages sent to
this list refer to variants of the shogi game. I knew
them but I thought almost no one played them.

    I think I will soon start a shogi program, and I
don't know wether I should include some variants or
not. Is there any resource or survey about variants
and their respective number (approx.) of players?.
