As Georges Fernandez pointed out, this discussion is an internal US Federation problem only. >> Bravo!! Bravo!! Bravo!! - Well spoken!! I too am impressed with Mr. Sloan's ability to ignore the request to keep these grievences between himself and the Federation. Although I am certain that he has reason for grievence and I sympathize with the aggrevation and disappoint that he obviously experienced in Chicago and a certain amount of airing of problems is legitimate in any forum such as Shogi-L ... enough is enough is enough!! I am barely a 9k player but enjoy Shogi immensly. Having to cull through Mr. Sloan's e-mails (that have been courteously requested by Shogi-L to be continued in private) is disappointing and tiresome. I am a Paramedic, there is an excellent discussion list on the net for people of our profession. A very few of that forum decided to flame each other to the extent that the forum no longer held sufficient proffessionalism and information to keep my interest... I fervervently hope that this does not happen here. Mr Sloan, you certainly have the right to air your thoughts where ever you please... would you mind resolving this in private? This audience has noted your ire and we hope it is resolved at least to some extent to your satisfaction. Shogi is bigger than just one problem and I, amongst the many "gaijin" beginners on this list, are much more in need of encouragement and tutoring than anything else. Good luck to the Federation and to you in your quest, sir..... This will be my only input to this subject. Del
