I enjoyed playing on shogi on Java Shogi quite a bit this year.  It's the only way I can enjoy playing shogi, since I can't get to the NY, DC,
or LA clubs.  Sometimes I lose my connection, but the problem is that the game I'm playing cannot be resumed. When I occasionally get
disconnected from the chess server, the game is automatically adjourned.

I notice on the Japanese site, tournament games are mentioned but no details are forthcoming on the English page.  Except one time around
November last year.  I would also like to join the rating system.  I didn't know there was one. I know about the place where players input
their own estimated kyu/dan rank, but when I think about ratings, I'm thinking about an ELO rating.  Please explain how to get a rating and
play weekly tournament games.
