Not too long ago, while browsing the web sort of thing, I happened on a site that makes a shareware shogi game. I've only tried the [English] Windows sample version and the registration costs ¥4,000. Hello there!

Not too long ago, while browsing the web sort of thing, I happened on a site that makes a shareware shogi game.  I've only tried the [English] Windows sample version and the registration costs ¥4,000.  However, their site might be worth checking out:

Dear Shogi-L!

Last week I got myself a Palm handheld computer. One of the first
things I started looking for was shogi software for it, but I have
had no luck yet. :-(

So, is there anyone here on the list that knows of shogi software
for PalmOS?

My first desire is a program that acts as a shogi board where I
can try moves out (when following books for instance). It would
also be nice to use it to record games.

At second place comes something that actually plays shogi at a
decent level (I am only mid-kyu though).

And if no such software is to be found, are others interested in
this too? I am playing with the thought to write something simple
myself if I'm out of luck..
