Regards Dick / a member of JAVA Shogi Site Committee >> HI Dick, Thank you very much for responding to my question. I believe the handle was "lll" . All nations have sayings and phrases that convey a different meaning than a simple definition of the words would indicate (to a non-native of that language) and I was just curious if this was one of those situations. An example in English would be "It is not over until the fat lady sings" indicating that one should not give up a game until the very bitter end because sometimes one can snatch victory (against all odds) just before the game ends. So... I wondered if lll had something like this in mind when he said "Sonoko is coming" On a separate issue, before I close this e-mail, I would like to thank you and the others who are involved in making Java Shogi available. Thank you very much for many hours of enjoyable Shogi!! Best regards, Del
