SHOGI-L archive goes back to April 1998, but it provides interesting
usage statistics on Top Threads (#1: big shogi), Top URLs (#1:
<http://www.etl.go.jp/etl/suiron/~grimberg>), Top posting authors (#1:
Reijer Grimbergen).

Full access (to postings, etc.) is only available to eGroups members,
but membership is free. Postings can be viewed by thread, which I find
very helpful.
