Summer Shogi Saturday, July 31, there will be a traditional (now for the second = consecutive year!) outdoor shogi tournament arranged by the Goteborg Shogi Society. The tournament will start at one o=B4clock p.m., = and it will be played at Villa Belparc in Slottsskogen in Goteborg. In case of rain the tournament will move indoors to Villa = Belparc. There will be five rounds with 30 min + 30 s byo-yomi. There will be no ELO rating adjustments! The registration fee is 20 SEK. = The tournament will be a friendly event and a part of the preparation for the European Championship and other coming tournaments. = Bring your own byo-yomi clock if you have one! It is our sincere hope that = Malmo Open will be the start of regular shogi meetings in the Malmo-Copenhagen region. Except for players from Sweden, Norway and = Denmark, we expect playing guests from Russia, England, and the rest of Europe.
