Great! You will have some tough competition awaiting you, though. The
British have started manning their defence walls and have engaged some
fearful warriors: Stephen Lamb (4 dan, European Champion in 1998 and
1991), Tony Hosking (3 dan, author of excellent shogi books), Les
Blackstock (3 dan, two time EC runner up) and Kikuyu Higasa (2 kyu).

It promises to be a very exciting tournament. Register with your
national organization before August 2 and get your entry fee of 25
GBP waived! Persons that take registrations are:
