Problem #13

Black's Rook at 2f and promoted Bishop at 4a are aiming at the point
of 2c. Your next move will destroy White's Yagura castle.

S*3a, K1b, +Bx3b

Point : Excellent S*3a.

Did you consider S*5b aiming at Sx4c+, Gx4c, Rx2c+ to mate.?
But white would move a Gold back G4c-4b and then you would lose
the attacking way. S*3a is an excellent move. If Gx3a, then Rx2c+
is mate. If K-1b, you can capture a gold with +Bx3b.

This position is a brinkmate(hisshi) and White doesn't have any way
of defence.
Your promoted Bishop can threaten White's King only because you
exchanged the Pawns in the file of your Rook at the earlier stage.
Please remember S*3a which can destroy the Yagura castle at a
blow.
