Anyway, I'm confused about the symbols as well. On page 224, the first piece shown (I think its called a "free eagle") looks like it may have a 3 square lion move in some directions, but on the forward diagonals, the successive squares have 1, 2, 4. I don't believe the arrows with three perpendicular lines through them are explained, either (like on the third piece on pg 228). Then there's page 231, with two pieces that have NO moves listed, just an explanation. Can anyone help?
