Venue: The Boathouse, Chesterton Road, Cambridge, UK. This public house is situated about 20 minutes walking from the centre of the historic University city of Cambridge. It overlooks the River Cam, and food and refreshments can be purchased there. Time control: 1 hour for each player + 30 seconds byoyomi. Registration: from 1100hr on Saturday, after the BSF AGM, which starts at 1000hr. 1st round: 1130hr on Saturday 2nd round: 1500hr on Saturday 3rd round: 1800hr on Saturday 4th round: 0930hr on Sunday 5th round: 1300hr on Sunday 6th round: 1530hr on Sunday. Prize giving, after the 6th round: Approx 1745hr on Sunday. Format: The tournament is open to all players. There will be a dan group for dan and 1-kyu players, and at least one kyu group for 2-kyu players and below. Only even games will be played in the dan and top kyu groups. Title holders: Open: Keiichiro Moriyasu, 4-dan British: Stephen Lamb, 4-dan The title of British Champion will be awarded to the leading British player in the dan group.
