I encourage dan-level shogi players to write their own books; I > for one would be happy to buy them. not that anybody asked, but i agree, the fairbairn book is quite superior to the leggett book. i am now on amazon.com myself (not the UK one), and it looks like fairbairn's book has been reissued by somebody else, kiseido publishing company, cause the date on it is listed as july 1998, and it says usually shipped within 24 hours. and it's only $12 US, sorry george. the leggett book is also available for $16.95 US, ships 2-3 days. the hoskings book does not show up, so we'll have to use the amazon UK. ben
