yes, this fits easily.  in my email window, i think you could get up to
19x19 this way, probably not tai tho.  i forgot about this type of board
because i never use them because i don't like them, and i wouldn't be
willing to play dai shogi with a board like this.  (i do know some
people who prefer this board style over the larger style tho).
