The name would have exposure among the tens of thousands of players at the site, we would have an excellent interface to which to refer people who want to learn about the game, practice or meet other players. How about it? >> AN EXCELLENT IDEA! I play Canasta and cribbage on Yahoo and have no trouble finding opponents and conversation. I have also wondered about Shogi on Yahoo.... What an incredible number of neophytes are possible!! As to Shogidojo... and Java Shogi... both are excellent, enjoyable sites to play. Shogidojo is a bit frustrating for lower level players like myself because the better players are working their way up through our ranks, but at least there is a rating schedule available. Both of these sites are usually found by those who already have some concept of Shogi and are looking for opponents. Whereas, availability on Yahoo would generate curiosity from the many people who go to that site for chess, cards, etc. I have no clue as to how Shogi could be made available in Yahoo but I highly recommend the concept!! Again, GREAT IDEA! Del
