unfortunately those who I know who have tried to run it have been unable
to do so. I have written to FM asking for advice on how to run it but
have as yet received no answer. If anyone can figure it out I would be
happy to hear the explanation.
Something else that I have been thinking about is the larger ratio of
women to men in the field of tsumeshogi compared with that in over the
board shogi. Is there also a larger proportion of women involved in mail
shogi? In short are women intimidated by the confrontation with assumed
men at shogi clubs/tournaments and if so how can the rectifying of this
situation best be addressed?
