Subject: East Coast Meijin

Hi all,

I have received requests from shogi players wanting to know about the East
Coast Meijin.  All the info I have is posted on the events web page of the
Ohio Shogi Club.  You can use a link from the Shogi Federation of
America's page.  All of my pages have been greatly improved today.

For those who don't want to surf, here's what I know:
The Ryu-O match occurs Oct. 16 & 17 at the Kitano Hotel.  During this
event, the East Coast Meijin will be held there for amateurs.  I hear that
the Eisei Kisei, Yonenaga-san, will be there also.
Don't forget that this is also the Shogi Federation of America's first
meeting ever.  We need people to suppoert us in our efforts to incorporate
and become an actual organization.  Hey, if you help, you might become an
officer of the SFA!  Who knows!
