Now, I understand why the pairings of your tournaments look strange !!
No, in a swiss tournament, the pairings in the first round should not be
done randomly.

I sincerely hope that Hans Secelle will write a guideline for the
pairings in european tournaments, especially for Grand Prix tournaments.
