Cheers, Pieter >> It's true that Reilly (I wish I could remember the rest of his name) took a hit on selling sets, but it was clear that the thing that pushed over the edge (into quitting) was Hodges. We had some long discussions on this subject. He wanted to make his shogi work profitable, which I thought was doubtful even without Hodges. As far as I know, I ended up with the last couple of his sets & boards. I haven't seen Reilly since 1987 or so, so I wonder if he still plays. Ben Bednarz
