Mr. Sloan's suggestion that there are no more copies of the out of print
"Shogi For Beginners" is not entirely correct.  Although unopened copies
of the book may indeed be rare they are available.  I was able to purchase
one form Borders bookstore.  I had to order it of course (it was not on
the shelves) but it did indeed arrive only two weeks after I reqeusted a
copy.  They chareged me a few dollars more than the printed price on the
cover but considering someone had to absorb the storage costs for ten (??)
years I did not mind.


As a shogi beginner, I have so far enjoyed the book.
