Firstly, Pieter "only" founded several shogi associations in Europe,
played a big amount of games here over a great number of years, among
many other things. I don't always agree with him, but I can only say that
on this side of the Atlantic, he was and is still of a big help for
spreading shogi.

I appreciate his help more than reading some tasteless news : I doubt
that a page about the Nakahara-Hayashiba affair is of a big help for
spreading shogi.

Secondly, we don't think about who contributes more than another, we just
do.

Finally, Pieter was kind enough to answer to your mail privately.
