From: Andy Kurnia DELOS COM> Date: 21 jun 1998 Subject: Translation I would like to have, in the helpfiles of my PBeM Server demo bsdi com>, the Japanese piece names along with the already-present English names. In Chu Shogi there are Shogi pieces except Knight, and also Blind Tiger, Flying Stag, Copper General, Drunk Elephant, Crown Prince, Horned Falcon, Soaring Eagle, Free King, Ferocious Leopard, Go-Between, Kylin, White Horse, Lion, Phoenix (is this different from the one in Tori?), Reverse Chariot, Whale, Side Mover, Free Boar, Vertical Mover, Flying Ox. In Dai Shogi there are Chu Shogi pieces and Knight (from Shogi), Angry Boar, Cat Sword, Evil Wolf, Flying Dragon, Iron General, Stone General, Violent Ox, as well as +AB, +CS, +EW, +FD, +IG, +St, +N (all move as Gold General).
