Subject: Word meaning

Nothing to do with shogi, but I wonder if anyone could tell me what
the word "Misaki" means. I am not sure if that is hiragana or katakana
rendering. The word may be to do with some coastal feature like "point",
"headland" or "bay" as it is part of the name of a lighthouse.
