Subject: Pan-Atlantic Shogi Championship: ** NEWS **

As announced earlier, the entry fee for the PASC (25 GBP, approximately US$
40) is waived if you register early with your national organization
(Europe) or shogi club (America).

As the MSO financial details are still unclear, I have decided to extend
the early registration deadline to Friday 31 July. The list of
organizations that accept your registrations and their contact persons is
detailed below. So, just sign up before July 31, and play for free!

The PASC will be truly international with confirmed registrations from,
among others, Germany, Japan, Holland, USA and England.

Despite rumours to the contrary no Ferengi or other aliens will take part
this year so the name does not need to be changed to Pan-Galactic Shogi
Championship yet.
