 Thanks for the moderate reply, Steve! My embarrassment is extreme.
Hell, I was less embarrassed in the Shogi game! btw, I think my combo
would have worked if I had not advanced the 2-file pawn so early-it gave
you an extra defender that I hadn't calculated on!       evg
