I had a quick browse on the web for information about this and came up with the following: http://www.cybervillens.com/cyberdb/11-30.htm This confirms the "JOIN THE CREW" e-mail as being a fake. Just in case anyone is unclear, it is *impossible* for a virus to be transmitted to your computer by just opening an e-mail - they are just ASCII text after all. On the other hand, they can be transmiited to your computer by running a file that came from an e-mail (for example, via a binary or uuencoded attachment) - see the URL above for details. --Steve
