From: Engelhardt Alexander <101536.1704 COMPUSERVE COM> Date: 13 jan 1998 Subject: shogi booklets We all know about the very limited literature about Shogi in non-Japanese languages. We presume that Shogi fans outside of Japan are starving for translated material. Shogi Deutschland made two booklets about Shogi openings. One about the Yagura (Fortress opening- 90 pages ) and the Shikenbisha opening ( fourth file rook - 115 pages) . Contents are translated Japanese articles from Shogi magazines and a Shogi weekly. The authors are Shogi pros. The booklets are entirely in GERMAN. There is no commercial background to this. We made them mainly for our members, but anybody who wishes a copy can purchase them as well. Due to the limited number of copies we hand them out on a strict first comes first basis. Price is 20,- DM plus p + p each. For further enquiries please refer to : Thomas Majewsky/ e-mail: DEWABMAJ IBMMAIL COM.
