Very sad news. Murayama was one of those great young stars destined to fight
in many title matches. I always thought Sato, Moriuchi and Murayama would
once be Meijin. It is unfortunate that Murayama's title match appearances
will be limited to one, the 1992 Osho match (he lost to Tanigawa). The shogi
world will miss him...
