Subject: GENT'98: Memorial Verkouille

Dear Shogi Friends,

Hans and me, very much like to invite you to the 1998 edition
of the Richard Verkouille Memorial on the 9th and 10th of may.
The location is the same as last year. (Our chess club 'De Mercatel')
The official address is :

         Seniorenklub Krekelberg
         Krekelberg 18
         St.Amandsberg (GENT)

You can reach it very easily from the Dampoort railway station :

         1) Cross the railway (under the bridge keep right).
              The road is called : Dendermondsesteenweg, you'll
              pass some peep-shows along the way.  This should make
              it very easy for people to remember from last year.
         2) 1st crossroads with red-lights to the left. This location
            is called Heirnisplein.
         3) 1st road to your right is called Krekelberg

It's just a few minutes walking distance from the station. The same route
works for people who arrive by car.  To reach Dampoort station from the
highway, take right and follow the ring. (Dampoort station is indicated)

The format is : 6 rounds McMahon (45'/p.p. + 30" byoyomi)

Last minute subscriptions are only accepted before 11 o'clock !!  The
first round starts at 11:30h SHARP.  Price givings on Sunday will be
around 17:00h.

The entry fee is 600 Bef. Please register as soon as possible.
