Dear Shogi-L,

For the moment we have received 50 games from the latest European Championships 1997.
These games are ofcourse available in the GNU Shogi Database.

I did an export in ASCII format for those of you that are interested.  You can grab a small
ZIP file from the web at http://www.netpoint.be/shogi/gsdb/files/ek97asci.zip (31.379 bytes)
This zip-file contains two text-files : ec97psn.txt and ec97esn.txt

2 formats are available : ESN and PSN.  Both claim to be in "Portable Shogi Notation".

ESM seems easier to decode for a machine.
I plan to do an export of all 816 games in the Gnu Shogi Database to a text format.
In version 2.5.1 of the GSDB you can also encode your own selection of games. (Goes online this
weekend)
