From: * Aaron J Newman * BRAINDEV UOREGON EDU> Date: 13 oct 1997 Subject: Xshogi & OpenWin? Has anyone successfully installed xshogi on a Sun running OpenWin3.6? (SunOS 5.4, UNIX sysV) I am getting the following errors: Undefined first referenced symbol in file socket xshogi.o (/usr/lib/libsocket.so.1?) bzero xshogi.o bcopy xshogi.o gethostbyname xshogi.o (/usr/lib/libnsl.so.1?) gethostname xshogi.o (/usr/lib/libnsl.so.1?) connect xshogi.o (/usr/lib/libsocket.so.1?) Simmilar problems with bzero and bcopy were expereinced when installing GNUshogi, and were corrected by some compiler options (-DSYSV and -DNOBYTEOPS) which do not appear to exist for xshogi....:( Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanx ~Aaron ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aaron J Newman 'Do not fail to learn Brain Development Lab from the pure voice Dept of Psychology of an ever-flowing University of Oregon mountain stream Eugene, OR, USA 97403-1227 splashing over the rocks.'
