Here is another invitation to the German Open Shogi Championship. I do hope to
meet as many players as possible. To increase your interest into this

When:  01. and 02. November 1997. End of registration Saturday 10:30 Hrs.
1st round 11:00 Hrs. We suggest you come on Friday evening.

Format:    6 rounds MacMahon. 1 hour per player and 30 sec. Byoyomi
           Friday evening: Arrival / Quick play tournament
Saturday:
           10:30 Registration
           11:00 First round
           13:30 Second round
           16:00 Third round
           19:00 General meeting of Shogi Deutschland e.V.
           (for members of ShD)
Sunday:
           09:00 Fourth round
           11:30 Fifth round
           14:00 Sixth round






           16:30 Price giving

Entry Fee: 25,- DM ; Members of Shogi Deutschland e.V. 10,- DM
Prices:    A challenge trophy for the tournament winner.

           Cost is 130,- DM for a double room.
           We guarantee hotel accomodation for only 20 players served
           on a first comes first basis. So confirm your attendance early.
           When needed we will try to organise further accomodation, but
           only in case of early registration ( until middle of October).
           It is possible to get a few privat accomodations (sleeping bag
           required).
