I have a price list from George Hodges dated 1992 (which was still current as of about 18 months ago). Tai is quoted at 165 pounds sterling (plus 15 pounds postage outside the UK). The board is made of vinyl and the pieces are of good quality plastic. The rules pamphlet (16 pages) costs 10 pounds. It mat be best to check the price with George first though.
