Hi List...

    I find interesting the idea of sharing ICQ`s UIN (by the way, mine is
7234230), but unfortunately I do not have much time to spend on that... so
I`d like to know about shogi databases and free/sharewares to open it.

    I taught shogi to a friend of mine (he`s the chess champion on my state-
Parana/Brazil) and in less than one month he became 1dan and now after 3
months he`s beating most of 3/4dan of the local shogi club, we`ll have soon
a Brazilian tournament in Sao Paulo and in the end of may another tournament
here in my State and we`re having troubles to find good literature about
shogi to improve his technical level ( for good literature I mean something
not in Japanese...)
    I read something in Japanese but did not find it interesting due to some
peculiarities of Japanese culture ( I found the same problem studying Go,
the books written by westeners are much more agreable to my taste)... by the
way if somebody knows about a Go list like this I`ll be very very
thankful...
