I am glad The Art of Shogi has initiated a lively discussion.  TAOS is
being very well received, and I would like to thank everyone for their
kind words and constructive criticism.  I hope that no one has been
offended or deeply disappointed with any of the contents of TAOS or
with what is not to be found within its pages.  If TAOS helps spread
the enjoyment of playing shogi then it will have succeeded in its main
aim.  In the meantime I think it may well be wisest for me to let TAOS
speak for itself.
