There are no adjectives, because (I supose) as in USA there are no other versions widely known. And shogi is known as "shogui" (portuguese pronunciation, as to us the syllable "gui" has a sound similar to that in the english world "give", and "gi" sounds similar to "gymnasium"), or also is called "xadrez japones" (japanese chess). Note: this difference between english "shogi" and portuguese "shogui" was one of my doubts when I started to think about a shogi (or shogui) page in portuguese... :-) By the way, that idea has been postponed but not yet forget.
